Statement Of Faith

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. We believe in the foremost commandment: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind… And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:37-39).

We agree with the Eighteen Dordrecht Articles of Faith, especially Article 6 – New Birth, Article 7 – Holy Baptism, and Article 8 – The True Church of God on Earth. We strive to practice and teach them according to the Word of God.

Furthermore, we believe “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

We believe that true born-again believers are those who have sincerely confessed their sins, repented, and are trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness. Such individuals are united with God in Spirit and live in obedience to His Word.

We believe, “By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works” (Ephesians 2:10).

We believe the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7) provide a firm foundation for the Church. Leadership must teach truth in love, with humility and dependence on the Holy Spirit. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find” (Matthew 7:7).

We believe in Holy Communion, held in love, peace, and unity. If unity is lacking, it must be prayerfully restored before participation.

We believe in biblical excommunication of members who persist in unrepentant sin, as defined in Scripture. Only God is the righteous Judge: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Romans 12:19).

Women's Head Covering, believed to be a practice of respect for husbands and God, as stated in 1 Corinthians 11:5-6, 10. Maintains proper order, with men praying or prophesying with uncovered heads and women with covered heads, as explained in 1 Corinthians 11:1-14. * This custom shows reverence for authority and spiritual leadership.

We believe true saving faith is known by its fruit—a life transformed by the grace of God, rooted in Scripture, and directed toward love and holiness. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world” (1 John 2:15–17). “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith… Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)” (Hebrews 10:22–23).
