About Our Curriculum

Faith-Based Curriculum

Our academic standards are based on biblically sound and time-tested materials designed for traditional Christian schools.

Instruction covers all subjects required by Pennsylvania law for elementary nonpublic schools (24 P.S. §13-1327), including:

1. English Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar, and German)

  • Emphasize honesty and clarity in communication.
  • Include German language instruction to honor and preserve the connection to our heritage, fostering understanding of Anabaptist culture and traditions

2. Arithmetic (Mathematics)

  • Basic math with an emphasis on stewardship and the responsible use of resources in daily life.

3. Geography

  • Focus on stewardship of creation and peaceful interactions in a global context.

4. U.S. and Pennsylvania History

  • Highlight religious freedom, community service, and nonviolence in historical context.

5. Health and Physiology

  • Teach modesty and holistic health, emphasizing simple living and caring for the body.

6. Civics and Safety Education

  • Focus on peaceable citizenship, community responsibility, and nonviolent conflict resolution.

7. Physical Education

  • Engage in structured activities on the playground to promote physical well-being, teamwork, and self-control.
